I had a treatment + wash and blow on Thursday. The receptionist was extremely rude when I had to pay. She was upset that I didn’t have the app and had to download it. Her tone and facial expressions? Mean-spirited! Very unprofessional and ruined my experience. Grace always does my hair and she’s just amazing!

I have previously sent a message to you, which has gone unanswered. Carlton hair has a good reputation, and as Kay from Melrose Arch wasn't available on Sunday 4th Feb, I went to your Rosebank branch. My intention was to have my brown hair dyed dark blond. After sitting with peroxide on my hair and then the colour, my hair turned out orange. There was no time to fix it, as the salon was closing. On Monday I went to Kay, who got the correct colour. However, my scalp is burning and my hair is as dry as straw. I am deeply dissatisfied with the process I had at Rosebank. I would appreciate feedback from Head Office ,as I find the situation quite unacceptable, and in total cost more than R2000 for the 2 treatments. Eagerly awaiting your reply. I would prefer to deal directly with Carlton Hair than put on any social platforms. Thanking you.

I was very disappointed at Carlton Rosebank. I am a regular customer of Carlton Hair. On Wednesday, 10 January 2024 I received a call 2 hours before my appointment to tell me the hairstylist was unavailable and no other stylist could do my hair, a simple plait. I had a function the same day to attend and could not reschedule my appointment. All the receptionist could offer me was an apology. This is not acceptable treatment. If a stylist has to cancel last minute that is simply not the responsibility of the customer and should be taken up with the stylist. Another solution, like having another stylist do hair, should be available. This is not on.

I am so pleased about the service my family and I received and how accommodating everyone was because I had called so last minute for an appointment,the nice lady I spoke to was so helpful and then a lovely lady by the name of Grace,saw to us and was such a delight and is amazing at what she does! So is everyone there :) ,I will definitely make a turn there again when I'm visiting in the area. Highly recommend👌

I had my roots colour & highlights done with Cameron & I am absolutely loving it. Cameron always takes care & supercedes my expectation every time. He also goes the extra mile to fit me in as he appreciates my limited time. I have been seen to by Cameron for all my colours, cuts, treatments & blow waves for some 8+ years, will continue to do so & happy to recommend him to my friends & family. It has been 2 months since I was last at Carlton's & my natural mousy blonde blends so well with the highlights. I'm so used to going to a salon and expecting 2 months to be the threshold before I have to go for touchups, but true to Gabi's words the regrowth is looking so natural. I'm so happy to have found this salon and to have met Gabi - this is definitely the only salon I will be going to and Gab's will always be my go to girl. Thanks team! ❤️

I had a stylist named John who completely messed up my cut. He had a sunny disposition and I trusted him because he seemed professional. I had two side cuts done , they were uneven with a terrible fade- he ruined my hair and it is impossible to fix. I can only grow it out and wait since my hair is rather long. Even after lodging a complaint I did not receive any feedback. I’m extremely disappointed and do not recommend this salon. It seems professionalism is just a facade and they do not have a good customer service. Be wary or you might end up as devastated as I am.

My Auntie & I booked here for a wash & blow dry. Super friendly, nice staff. We felt very taken care of (almost like a regular client) and we were super happy with the results! Thank you Grace & Lily - btw, my plaits stayed in for a week!! :-)
